There was so much awesome in the Metropolitan Pavilion today as The Makeup Show began it’s two day run. From well known brands such as Make Up For Ever to up and coming brands like Inglot, there was something for everyone. Wigs, eyelashes, glitter tattoos, and makeup EVERYWHERE! Tomorrow I am hopping on some sort of airplane and taking myself up to the big apple to check out the Makeup Show!
I was playing around with my makeup stash today, trying to get somewhat organized (which is pretty much an impossible task – I simply have too much stuff), and I realized that I had never even used my Smashbox VIP quad that came with my Nordstrom exclusive set from the holidays. Needless to say, it’s beautiful and I don’t know why I haven’t used it before now. Included is a carbon black, metallic silver, metallic gold, and a matte ivory, which is perfect as a highlighter. The black, when applied with a wet eyeliner brush doubles as an excellent eyeliner. [...]
