This is a press photo from the MAC Riveting Collection. I don’t have any information on the collection itself (sorry! but there are a lot of blogs out there that do), but I just had to post it for the HAIR. I love it. That is an amazing hairstyle, and I can only wonder how many cans of hairspray it took to create it.
As I mentioned before, I only brought the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland eye palette with me here to NYC, forcing myself to create looks using that. Here is what I came up for today: Started with Primer Potion. Used Muchness all over lid. Applied Absolem to inner 1/2 of lid, Vorpal to outer half. Used Queen to line upper and lower lids. I really like the Queen shade. It’s a very workable plum that would probably look excellent on any skin type. Some people may be frightened of the brightness of Absolem, but it actually goes on rather sheer, [...]
Name your Top 3 Makeup Items Ever! And tell us about the worst thing you ever tested/used. It is SO HARD to pick only three! First up would have to be my DiorShow mascara – there are some things that are as good, but there just isn't anything better. Next, CoverFX acne treatment primer. Apparently she’s from the new 90210, which I haven’t caught. But those curls! Love! I’m told that her on-set stylist, Dyana Aives is using Big Curls Curl Defining Creme by Samy. It works by amplifies curls by adding volume, texture and shine and is specially formulated to define, separate and extend curls. The good news is that it’s easy to find – you can pick yours up at Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS locations here in the US, and Canadians can grab it at Shopper’s Drug Mart stores.
Eyebrow maintenance has always been a headache for me. As you all know, I have some Italian in my blood which translated into caterpillars sleeping on my forehead, right above my eyes. I had no idea how pretty my eyes were until I sculpted those bad boys into shape! Now, please understand. This was not an overnight change for me. It took many trial-and-errors to really get the system down. But I wouldn’t had known how to create the most flattering brow line for my face without the help of some beautiful ladies (and one beautiful man!) Come along with [...]
