Summer can take it’s toll – between the sun, chlorine, sea water, and heat processing, hair can start looking extremely dull by the time the summer wraps up.

Tinted moisturizers have become a staple in many people’s makeup boxes, but it’s hard when you have oily or problematic skin to find ones that don’t make that problem worse. When I am looking for a tinted moisturizer, I tend to lean towards those that aren’t overly heavy and still have some SPF protection. Luckily, it hasn’t been that difficult to find exactly what I’m looking for at any price point.

Remember back in the 70s and 80s when we used to bake our skin in the sun and use things like “tan amplifiers” and aluminum foil to get a darker tan? There may or may not have been baby oil involved. We really didn’t grasp the idea of sunscreen back then, outside of that greasy white stuff that some people would spread on their nose to keep it from getting red.
