So many great lippies for spring. At the top of my list is the Eddie Funkhouser Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color. I received three, including Innuendo, Deep Raspberry, and Scarlet Red.
It’s hard to tell in these photos, but the Deep Rasberry and Scarlet Red are two really beautiful colors. Scarlet Red is more of a true red, and Deep Raspberry is a bit of a blue-pink red. The formula is rich and creamy, with lots and lots of pigment. The wear is typical for lipstick, but if you set it with powder, you’ll get much longer wear. It has portulaca pilosa flower extract, which smoothes the lips, mango fruit extract to condition the skin, the antioxidant vitamin E, vitamin C for brightening, and candelilla wax, which gives it it’s creamy texture.
You’ll want to use a good lip brush, as these are so pigmented, they can be hard to work with out of the tube. You can end up with it everywhere (ask me how I know).
My Makeup Wars winner this week is definitely the Eddie Funkhouser Hyperreal Lip Color in Deep Raspberry. It’s just gorgeous.

I’m not much of a lip gloss girl (I always forget to apply it), but both of these are pretty and sparkly, without being obvious glitter.
