I have hit or miss luck with e.l.f. Sometimes I really love what they have, and other times, it just doesn’t work out for me (like that prism palette that I wanted to love so much).
But when I grabbed that palette at Target, I also grabbed some HD Concealer, as well. I always need a concealer for something – my 40+ acne breakouts, the dark circles under my eyes, you name it. And I am super picky about my concealers and expect some high performance. Especially when it says HD.
But, all my skepticism aside, I’m digging this $3 concealer. It’s not perfect – the shades seem slightly off, the formula seems unnaturally thick, but I’m only interested in results. Does it cover my hormonal acne? Yes. Does it cover up allergy shiners and heavy bags under my eyes? Yes. Can I use it to blend out the reddish tint to my cheeks and around my nose? Why, yes I can.
That makes this little $3 tube of e.l.f. HD Concealer a keeper in my kit.
