I don’t think I bought a single blush this year. I don’t think I got my hands on any new blush products either. In all, it’s been a pretty boring blush year for me. I think I’ve spent most of it wearing my standby, Orgasm.

But I did use an old release in a fun way. Unfortunately, it was a limited edition, but my best blush of 2014 is NARS’ Adelaide Illuminator from the Final Cut collection.

I spent all summer wearing it as a blush. It’s a pretty bright pink and it has more than a little of micro-glitter which looked great on my (falsely) tanned skin.  A little bit on shoulders and chest for special occasions looks lovely too.

I think it would make a great highlighter for darker skin, but not so much a blush. It probably wouldn’t show up on skin much darker than mine. It would, however, shimmer and glitter up for a beautiful illuminator.

Overall, NARS’ Illuminator products are a must have. You can use them in so many different ways. Blush, illuminator, highlighter, shimmer, you name it. They have all different kinds of formulas as well.

I’m sure my beauty bloggers have some awesome picks. Be sure to check them out!
