This was super hard for me. There are so many cool beauty tech toys out there, that I had a hard time keeping the number down. But these are the three that I’m loving and using all the time right now.

Makeup Wars: our favorite beauty tech tools

  1. Kiss InstaWave: This thing is seriously my jam. It looked a bit nerve-wracking when I first took it out of the box, but once I got the hang of it (two or three tries, tops), this hair-tech-tool-slash-curling-iron created the nicest curls that stayed in my hair for three days. I know, right? Keep a look out for a full review on this one coming up next week.
  2. Tria Hair Removal Laser: at-home laser hair removal that really works. If you’re consistent and follow the directions carefully (shave, only use every two weeks, etc, etc), the Tria will give you complete and permanent hair removal. Seriously, it works. I would not lie to you about this. Do not make the mistake I did and use it on tattooed skin. You will blister, and it will hurt. Learn from my mistakes.
  3. Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System: I know I just talked about this recently, but this is one of the best drugstore beauty tech products that I’ve seen. It’s essentially a vibrating surface that, along with the product-soaked pad, sweeps away dead skin cells and brightens your skin. It’s kind of jarring when you use it, but the results are worth it.
