I’ve been traveling quite a bit lately, and I’m not an extremely organized person by nature. Usually I end up with three or four makeup bags full of hair, skin care, and makeup. It’s funny really, because otherwise I can pack pretty light.
I picked up the Beauty Butler at The Makeup Show Dallas thinking that perhaps it would be good for travel. At the very least I could keep my day to day makeup on it, or my daughter could. I purchased two boards (called Divas) and a case (called a Binder).
The concept is so simple, you’ll wonder why it hasn’t been done before. The boards are essentially Velcro loops, and you apply strips of pre-glued hook strips to your products by wiping down the back with alcohol and sticking on in the middle. I’m able to attach everything I need for a quick face, close it up in the case, and keep it ready for quick packing without having to think much about it. Sample sizes are GREAT for this.
It’s obviously great for a lot of different things – keep organized with a board of favorite blushes, and one for eyeshadows. The possibilities are endless.
Divas are $12.99, and smaller boards (Flirts) are $10.99. Binders are sold with one Diva and retail at $28.99. They sell lots of combinations of different pieces, so you can mix and match. Visit the Beauty Butler site to purchase or to find out more.
