I don’t wear makeup every day. I know, right? Shocking. But I work from home full time now, and rarely have a reason to get out of my sweatshirts and leggings unless I’m going out. Luckily, that’s pretty often, because when you work from home, you look for just about any opportunity to get out. Book club meeting? Sure! Movie with friends? Absolutely. Civic league meeting? Even that. But just because I don’t leave the house consistently every day doesn’t mean I want to walk around with a completely bare face. Here is a little discovery to help out on those “no-makeup” days.
Garnier’s 5 Second Blur is a triple threat for me – it mattifies (crucial for oily skin like mine); smoothes out lines, wrinkles, and pores (my pores are the bane of my existence); and reflects light to give you that “soft focus” look (really helpful for those of a certain age).
It’s a pale pink silicone-based formula that works well on it’s own after your skin care routine, or as a makeup primer, if you can’t bring yourself to go without. And I’ve heard on the street that it’s an excellent dupe for Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch (and you’ll save some serious $$$ too, which you can promptly spend on eye shadow).
