The best thing that ever happened to cosmetic companies was the idea of limited edition shades. MAC may have pioneered the idea, but everyone has embraced it, and since we are all makeup-obsessed sheep (that’s probably just me), we buy it when we know we won’t always be able to get it. At least, that’s what happened when I found a single polish left over from the Brocades collection from Maybelline’s Color Show polish. It was Lavish Lilac, which isn’t normally my jam, but I’m glad I picked it up.
If you can find these Brocade polishes and you like glitter, then grab them. Not only are they versatile – you can use them as top coats or build layers for opacity – they are glitter polishes that are easy to get off. I am so pleased that such things exist.
The wear is average – for me, I can usually get two to three days at the most. That’s totally average, and not at all unusual either way.
And of course, the best part is the price: a whopping $3.99, which is a great price for such a fantastic polish.
