Summertime is here, and the living is easy. At least, I’d like to think it is. So once or twice a week, I load up all my stuff and head to the beach, where I drink pina colada crushes (so easy to make!) and listen to reggae music while pretending I am somewhere else. Like Jamaica. So it’s only natural that I’d want my nails to reflect my state of mind.
I began with my Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Smooth and Strong Base Coat, then apply one layer of FingerPaints Nail Color Art in Nouv-Yellow. Then I take my glitter and apply two (or three – it depends on how good I am at getting the glitter to go on smoothly – I’m sure there is a trick to this, I just don’t know what it is) coats of my Laquistry Rasta La Vista Danielle! (which is on SALE right now for $5 – you need this). And of course, because I can’t stand the way glitter feels on my nails, I lay down a coat or two of my Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Smooth and Strong Top Coat. Viola, finished! Now I can mix my cocktails and head to the beach.
