Moving on through my collection of must-have products, I know that most people might find this one a little surprising. Although it’s true that HD foundations are pretty amazing, I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to give up my beloved Mat Velvet + foundation.
Mat Velvet + does everything I need a foundation to do. It evens out my skin tone, it is a mattifier without creating any dry spots, and it lasts forever. While it’s classified as a full coverage foundation, I’ve found that using a little goes a very long way. I’ve combined it with my oil-free moisturizer to create a tinted foundation, and it still retained my favorite things about it. It’s also non-comedigenic, for those of you worried about breakouts.
