I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty picky about what goes on my hair. Maybe it’s because Leo is my rising sign, maybe I’m just weird, but my hair is something that I take very seriously. I do love hair oils, especially palm and argan oil, so I was excited to try out the new Avon Advance Techniques 360 Nourish Moroccan Argan Oil System, which includes shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in oil treatment.
Nothing fancy about this system – it’s your basic three step wash, condition, and treat. It smells lovely, without being overwhelming, and left my hair feeling nice and soft. I don’t have a big frizz problem at the moment, since I still have my keratin treatment in, but I realized halfway through my bottles that this wasn’t a sulfate free system, and I noticed that it did strip my treatment away a little bit. It didn’t affect my color at all, so I’ll stick with saying that I think it’s a fairly gentle system.
The price is definitely right – at $6.00 a bottle, you won’t feel as if you’re throwing your cash into the wind every time you purchase. And right now all three products in the regimen are on sale for 50% off, which is hard to beat. I can’t remember the last time I only paid three bucks for a bottle of shampoo!
The leave in oil treatment is fairly standard; you’ll want to make sure you distribute it evenly through your hair for maximum benefits, and it can be used on both damp and dry hair to control frizz.
So, if your hair is normal to dry without a keratin treatment, I think you’ll find that this argan oil-infused system will work quite nicely on your hair, giving it body and shine without weighing it down.
