If you are letting the price tag of New York Color’s line of color cosmetics prevent you from purchasing because it’s just too low (and therefore can’t be of good quality), you need to stop with that line of thinking and get yourself some.

I was asked to try out the limited edition Fashion Predator eye palette, and it looked like such a great fall color set, that I couldn’t refuse. I was heading out for a birthday celebration earlier this week, and used the entire NYC Color line on my eyes. Because everything was marked on the palette, it was a complete no-brainer to figure out where to use the four different colors.

Pigmentation was fair to average – you could easily build up color if you wanted it, but it will take some extra effort to get that dark pigmentation if you’re going for that.

I finished up with the new glitter liner, and added a few coats of my Big Bold Mascara by NYC Color ($4.99), and called it good. It lasted until I got home super late and washed it all off.

You can find NYC Color cosmetics at most mass retailers and drugstores. I always pick mine up at Target.
