tarte maracuja divine shine lip glossWhen tarte said “health food for the lips” they really weren’t kidding. I’ve been struggling with extra super dry lips this season (no earthly idea why), and have been doing my fair share of exfoliation with sugar scrubs and keeping gloss on at. all. times. But I had a busy day recently where I knew I wouldn’t have time to mess with gloss, and by the end of the day I realized that not only did my gloss last all day long, they didn’t need to be scrubbed with sugar to remove the dead skin, either. Win!

Maracuja oil, the new ingredient in tarte’s divine shine lip gloss, is better known as “pure milagro” or “pure miracle.” I can absolutely see why. Not only did I have shiny-but-not-sticky lips most of the day, but there was actually some repairing going on. I don’t normally see that with gloss, as I usually have to layer it in Carmex and use sugar scrubs constantly. There is an entire collection with this oil, but I haven’t had the chance to check any of it out with the exception of this one little gloss. However, with the success of this, I’m ready to try all of it.

maracuja divine shine lip gloss is available at Sephora and tarte.com for $21
