I am such a sucker for tropical smelling things. In the summer, I don’t wear scents that aren’t tropical, so I was excited to add yet another product to my arsenal. Softsoap’s new Coconut Scrub soap not only smells delicious, it has exfoliating properties as well.
I’m normally not a huge fan of bar soap, since it seems to make my already-congested skin even worse. But a bar soap that exfoliates? That’s a completely different animal altogether. It contains crushed coconut extract, and you can actually feel a bit of the exfoliants in the bar when you use it, which always makes me feel as if something is happening, regardless of whether or not something actually is. Applied to my bath mitt, however, makes that grainy feeling disappear.
Softsoap’s Coconut Scrub Bar is available just about everywhere and will probably run you about $3.50 for a single bar. I was able to try it out through Influenster’s VoxBox program.
