Drugstore Beauty Finds: Visine Total Eye Soothing Wipes

Welcome to a new weekly feature that I like to call Drugstore Beauty Finds – every week I’ll be highlighting a budget-friendly yet full of awesome beauty product that you can only find at the drugstore. There are so many great products out there that don’t cost a fortune and are easy to get your hands on, and I’ll be showcasing the best of them here.

This week I want to introduce you to Visine Total Eye Soothing Eye Wipes. These wipes are pretty amazing – not only are they soft to the touch and won’t scratch up the delicate skin around your eyes, but they also do a fantastic job of removing eye makeup as well as dust, pollen and debris, all of which can irritate your eyes and make them puffy and red.

I’m not going to lie – I was so excited to get this set! I bought it specifically because they finally made Rockstar into a non-glittery shadow (unlike it’s previous incarnation as a pigment with too much glitter), but there is absolutely nothing about this set that I don’t think is fantastic. There are seven new shades besides Rockstar, with the names that you’ve come to expect from UD – Money, Loaded, and Snatch among others. You will be able to purchase these shadows later in October seperately, but then you wouldn’t get the benefit of the lit up NYC iconic artwork that is on the top of this book of shadows. I have plenty of pictures and swatches of the individual shadows after the jump.

Halloween goodies: my kids are obsessed with PocketBac by Bath and Body Works

Halloween is undoubtedly my favorite time of the year. The weather is finally starting to cool off, and who doesn’t love a holiday that is all about candy and dressing up with fantastic makeup? So it stands to reason that I have a TON of Halloween-themed items, and when my kids got their hands on the PocketBac from Bath and Body Works, it was all over. I had passed on my Halloween obsessions to them.

What's in your makeup bag with Cindy of Prime Beauty Blog

One thing I have learned in this series is that a) people carry around some really cool stuff that I don’t have and b) everyone’s makeup bag is ten times cuter than mine.

Sponsored post: Italian beauty finally lands in the United States

I love European beauty products. They are so unique, and many of them have fragrances or ingredients that are very different from American products. And I think we all know how I feel about any sort of Italian product – from clothing to food to motorcycles to coffee, Italians know how to make an amazing product. So when I heard that Bottega Verde, Italy’s largest cosmetic company, now had e-commerce site for the US, I had to go check it out.

Review: multi-task with Scandle, the candle that doubles as a massage lotion

I was recently given the opportunity to review and try the Scandle, a shimmering lotion candle. Obviously, this product has a lot of applications, and I’m not even going to be able to touch on them all. But I did a basic testing of the Scandle, and found that it actually isn’t nearly as gimmicky as you might think.

The five best moisturizers for oily skin

Having oily or breakout prone skin is absolutely no reason not to moisturize. While you may think that it is just adding to the problem, the truth is that those with oily skin need moisturizers just as much as those with dry skin. A good moisturizer will prevent your skin from overcompensating with oil as well as help with anti-aging.
