Do you love my beat up tube of ooh la lift eye balm – eye concealer? I’ve had it for a really long time, it was one of my first Benefit purchases many moons ago. It’s a staple of my routine, yet I can’t decide if it falls under makeup or skincare.
A touch of this on your undereye area gives you an instant boost – it contains light reflecting ingredients as well as a raspberry extract that seems to help wake up my tired eyes.
One shade really does work on everyone – it’s not pigmented, per se. It is more of a cooling tinted lotion that adds just a bit of lightness to that already-dark undereye area. It’s brilliant on those mornings when I’ve been up way too late the night before but need to look rested the next day.
ooh la lift eye balm – eye concealer is available at Benefit Cosmetics for $22.

Interesting. Does it actually work as a concealer of undereye circles, or do you have to use something else, too, and this just to brighten? Could you use it on the lids as well? Because I have the “full Monty” of concealer needs: dark circles and redness all around the eyes and lids!

Personally, I need a concealer as well, because I have some serious under-eye issues. But on days when I don’t feel like dealing with a bunch of makeup and I just need a tinted moisturizer, a swipe of mascara, and lip balm, this is a lifesaver. Plus, it just feels weirdly good!
You sold me with “wake up my tired eyes!”
I will carry mine in my purse and apply during the day if my eyes start feeling tired. It really does help perk them right up. That and some coffee, of course.
I have terrible issues with dark circles because of my allergies. I am always on the search for concealer that covers up but isn’t cakey. I like the idea of this Benefit product as a “refresher” throughout the day.
(Oh, and your nails look great in this pic, love the retro cherry red).
I have horrid “allergy shiners” too! Aren’t they just the most annoying ever? I use this as well as Benefit’s Eye Bright to help counteract those black eyes.
